About Me

Jasper and IHello!

My name is Astrid Hojlund, and I offer professional dog walking and puppy sitting services in St Albans City, Hertfordshire.

I seek to provide a very friendly, trustworthy and personal service to all my clients (humans and pets!).

Please refer to the Services section of the website for a summary of what is on offer. I also urge you to refer to the Terms & Conditions section of my website, which may provide you with some of the information you are looking for.

Below you can see an overview of courses I have successfully completed and courses which are in progress. Please be assured that I am fully insured, police checked and can provide you with a host of references. I can and will regularly provide basic training to ensure safety on walks, however if your dog appears to be unsociable or unsafe on walks, I may have to refuse to walk him or her until further training by you has been completed. It is my main concern that all my clients are kept safe at all times and are given an enjoyable and fulfilling walk/ play.

All first consultations and any advice needed is free of charge. Some clients may prefer to employ me on a regular basis, some perhaps once or twice a year when away on holiday. Therefore, please do not hesitate to contact me with any queries you may have, no job is too big or too small.  I am happy to help and look forward to meeting you and your furry friend.

Please note that at Doggywalks we welcome all breeds and we are particularly welcoming of bull breeds and rescue dogs. As an adopted Staffie mum and a regular fundraiser and volunteer dog walker at my local rescue, I am confident, experienced, but above all, enjoy working with rescues of all breeds!
